From my Co-Administrator Kalisa2....
Did you know that the writer of Lady Soul is a white Australian? I didn't know that. I had read the name and never thought much of it, I thought maybe he was related to Ron Holden, a black artist who had a hit song called "Love You So" in the 60's. So this morning I decided just to check and see if there was a relationship and found out that there isn't one. He (the "Lady Soul" writer) was some kind of pop star in Australia, moved to Los Angeles during the operative period when he wrote "Lady Soul" (he also wrote "Look What You Started"), and sometime in the '90's moved back to Australia, where he is currently one of the judges on "Australian Idol". One site describes him as "a bit of a wanker" and "a real knob"... whatever that means in Australian (doesn't sound good....)
I just thought I'd share this tidbit of info with you all. Thanks K2! Lady Soul is my favorite song!
