I was just perusing iTunes and I noticed that Warm Summer Nights is the most popular of the downloads from Still Here, next is Shawtyismygirlooyeah, One of a Kind Lady, Woman, and Hold Me are all tied for 3rd.
I have three things to say for now.
1. Some of the lyrics on this thing are dumb as hell. 2. but, these men can make the phone book sound good 3. they pulled it off because of their talent--won't be winning any awards for this one, but damn they can sing.

Why dont you think they'll be winning awards? I think Shawty has radio play written all over it? They MUST shorten the name though. Shawtyismygirloohyeah? That is SOOOOO Otis. But it really is a great song. I am still laughing at my friend who thinks at the beginning of change has come, when Burce is talking, he (my friend) says who is that? Is that TD Jakes? LMAO! I love first kiss, but the ending is just as random aas the speech Terry does at the beginning. Um sir? lol

I am still laughing at my friend who thinks at the beginning of change has come, when Burce is talking, he (my friend) says who is that? Is that TD Jakes?... OMD, TD Jakes, thats so true! ;D Why dont you think they'll be winning awards? As Chocolate Thunder (Theo Fine) would say, "this is grown folks music" and grown folk music don't win awards. If you're not running around half naked or just damn naked, cussing, bumping grinding, grabbing your crotches talking 'bout b***** and h**, smoking and drinking (grown folk don't no that kind of stuff) you don't get much attention or air play. I agree, Shawty is radio and every other media material. (I LLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUVVVVVVV it, its my favorite, no complaints about that song what so ever.) This cd is good, but it has a lot of dumb a** lyrics, but its just something about it that keeps it from being top Tempts stuff. What categories could it possibly get an award for? Best effort by this Tempts line-up? HELL TO THA NAW. Don't get me wrong, I like it. I blast it, and I do mean blast it, everytime I'm in my truck. It's my new riding cd. It SOUNDS good. I think if people other than Tempts crack heads hear it, they will really enjoy it. Tom Joiner, Steve Harvey and who ever else is popular on the radio needs to give it some air time. Terry is on top of his game, mostly, some others are not. The guy singing bass in ok. He kind works my nerves on Hold Me, even though he reminds me of Blue Lovette, (and I luvs me some Blue) this guy is dull at times, but he works for me on Shawty, told ya, no complaints about that song. But Hold Me is growing on me. I also like Warm Summer Nights, First Kiss with its dumb a** beginning and drop off the face of the earth ending, is actually my 2nd favorite, I actually like the Terry/Bruce combo on this one and there two voices together have never quite worked for me, but I digress, I also like A Change Has Come, Let Me Catch Your Daimonds, more dumb ass lyrics that I happen to like. After Still Here With Me, I go back to First Kiss. I listen to those four songs (excluding Change) more than anything. I sort of like Soul Music and Going Back Home, but I don't listen to them as Much. I HATE Listen Up and I don't care who knows it. For some reason, don't remember much about Woman, go figure, I guess I really am cured of my thing for Ron T. One of a Kind Lady is sooooooooooo 80s Temptations, but its growing on me. Like a snowball rolling down the side of a snow covered hill, it growing... OK, I'm done.

Wow, don't know what I was thinking. I love the song Woman. The hook is so dang catchie and I can't stop singing it. Yep, still have my thing for Ron T. I guess I didn't have anything to say about the song before, because after Shawty, I go back to Warm Summer nights and First Kiss. Shawty is my favorite by far, but I think any of those 4 songs would go over well on the radio.

1. Is an intro which I dont really need to review, but I will. Excellent harmonies. I love them sooooo much
2. Change Has Come. um er... its not my absolute fave, but still a solid song. I like when they breakdown 1.20.09. I also like the falsetto thing in the background nobody hears except me on "when I walk down the street, everyone that I meet has a smile on their face...etc.
3. One Of A Kind Lady... I love this song. I love that the lyrics are consistent, and when I drive in the car, I pretend they are singing about me. I put on my shades and roll down the window to this one.
4. I have no clue whats next? Is it Diamonds? This song is one of my favorites, although the lyrics are not so clear. What are diamonds supposed to represent? Tears? How can you hold back tears?? That confuses me. But its an EXCELLENT song, and Terry and Bruce sound great...
